Local moves are priced individually
We don’t publish a fixed price list for local moves, because two apartments of the same size can need very different crews and access plans — a fourth-floor walk-up in a brownstone is a different job from a doorman building with a freight elevator, even at the same square footage.
Instead, we build your flat rate from your actual inventory and both buildings, and lock it before you book. It takes about 15 minutes to get a real number — far more useful than a range you’d have to second-guess.

One flat rate, locked before you book
Most NYC movers charge by the hour, which means your final bill is a guess until the truck is unloaded — and every slow elevator or traffic jam is on your tab. We do it the other way round. We go through your inventory, factor in the access at both ends, and give you one fixed price.
That number is locked before you book. It doesn’t move because the day ran long, and there’s no list of extras waiting at the other end. The only thing that changes a flat quote is you changing the move — adding a room, a stop or a service — and we’d re-quote that with you first.
Why flat beats hourly
With hourly pricing, the longer the move takes, the more you pay. A flat rate puts the risk on us: if the move runs long, that’s our problem, not a bigger bill for you.
